Kindly sponsored by Snug Carpets, our Easter Camp this year is moving to Mitchelstown Community Leisure Centre while our new clubhouse is being built. This ensures shelter and toilets for our best little tennis players aged between 4 and 8 🙂

Camp starts on Tuesday 14th of April and runs until Thursday 16th, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM daily.

Registration and advance payment is mandatory as our coach Paul Fitzgerald will be purely focused on the tennis. Places are limited to 16 kids so advance payment is recommended to avoid disappointment.

When paying online, please enter your childs name and any particular notice (e.g. medical) into the “Additional Information” box that we should be made aware of.

Club Secretary Helena O’Brien with Club Head Coach Paul Fitzgerald had their own “canvassing” going on where they were promoting tennis at local schools. An amazing response from schools and their pupils!

Selling the long term vision of a two-storey clubhouse based on architects drawings and raw enthusiasm can be difficult - so let us share this image taken from the temporary roof of Phase 1 (ground floor) by our architect today.

This phase has been designed and built with this long term vision in mind to help ensure a relatively straight-forward second floor development. In time, when funds and motivation allow, a second floor can be added onto the structure currently under construction.

Our membership prices have not changed since 2015, the only increase being inclusion of the mandatory Tennis Ireland Capitation Fees in 2017. In five years we’ve seen basic utility rates and insurance rise – but crucially we will soon have a clubhouse of the highest quality that’s environmentally sustainable and offers a superb platform for future growth.

Rather than continually chase members (and the public) for numerous fundraising events throughout the year, our approach this year is to try achieve similar fundraising goals via a modest membership rate increase, and focus on providing more tennis activities and events, as well as our very first Munster Branch graded open this summer.

That said, we want to give our loyal members (and potential newcomers) an opportunity to lock in the 2019 rates for one more year by means of thanks for all your support in helping us get this far!
