These are answers to common questions about the Mitchelstown Tennis Club Online Court Booking System. Please get in touch with us if you have questions that we don't answer below! [Updated 16/April/2021]

1.0. Consecutive booking is not allowed. Double-booking, where players book courts back-to-back, with the intention of playing continuously for more than 90 minutes is against the rules. Note: There is no difficulty with players playing for longer when the court has not been booked and there are no other members awaiting a court.
1.1. If a booking has not been filled within 10mins of the scheduled time, it is deemed cancelled and the court may be used by others awaiting a game.
1.2. Members are allowed to participate in one booking per day during peak hours (i.e. 6pm to 9pm), and only two bookings per week during peak hours. There is no such limit outside of peak hours.
1.3. You may only play on a court that has been booked in your own name. Booked courts are not transferable. You may not assign a court booked in your name to another member. You must cancel the court and make the court available to other members.
Quite often your email junk system will automatically send emails that it doesn't trust into your junk mail folder. Check your junk mail for emails from Mitchelstown Tennis Club, and add mitchelstowntennisclub@gmail.com and noreply@mail.yourcourts.com to your "safe senders" list. Do let us know if you continue to experience registration issues.
Challenge the person! You've the court booked after all. Show them the booking on your phone to prove your point. If the person fails to move for you, try to find another court to play on, but let us know all details:
The booking system costs €250 per year. The extra cost is the time volunteered by the person that installed and configured the system for the club, and the time spent by those committee members that administer the system for members.
This is to ensure that users have a fair chance at booking peak time slots. If you have a special requirement to book a court well in advance (such as Munster Branch competitions) then please let us know.
Members can book courts free of charge.
If your slot can become free due to a match not being fulfilled, then do please delete the booking so that other users can make use of the slot. Members that repeat offend such that they continually "hog" court time but don't cancel will be spoken to!
This is possibly due to your account having been disabled by the court booking system administrator - usually due to non-payment of membership fees or similar. If you've gone through the reset password link on the court booking system login screen, and are still unable to login - please contact us to discuss.
One of the admin team that look after the court booking system can help you there. Contact us to resolve any technical issue you may have.
Using your internet enabled device by browsing to YourCourts.com and login with your username (or email) and password.
Anytime within the court opening hours - currently 7AM to 10PM.
You may book a court 10 days ahead of the current date.
While you may register freely to use the system, any registered user found not to be a member may have their accounts disabled.
Hopefully one of the people you are playing will have access to the internet to book a court.
Yes. You can add attendees that you have agreed to play with. You can also invite other members to play through the system, if they have already registered their details.
